Soooo.......is he gay?

  • I think he is gay too. We have to remember that this would extend past his Mormon faith and playing at a Catholic school. He wants to play in the NFL and the NFL players are not that accepting to gays. Creating a 'girlfriend' seemed like the perfect cover-up. Him being gay is the only thing that makes this situation make sense to me.

  • Asheville is hippy and trustfund pot smoker heaven...never really saw it as that gay.

but last time we were up there we were at the asheville brewing company, and I looked around and of 100 guys in the bar, I told my wife that i was the only dude in there without a beard. literally.

Teo said he received a phone call from the same number as the fake girl's number on Dec. 6th. He said it was the same voice. He then interviewed and lied about her death on the 8th multiple times. It was only until the 26th that he supposedly first told the ND administration.

The guy is a complete fraud and asshole for stringing the country along this bs story.

He strung the school along for the ride too.

That's more of what I remember. And I'm not a hippy or have a trust fund (trustafarian), but I am a guy with a beard who likes heady nuggets and white water rafting, so your pretty close.

I'd move back in a heartbeat if i could find a job at at least 50k, but that city has damn near no jobs outside of hospitality.

  • From November to March, with no leaves on the trees, the winds are always 15-20+ mph. That really sucked, so a beard is nice. After awhile, I just hate shaving. Plus, being a young guy with authority on construction projects, I've noticed people act differently if I'm baby faced or have a beard. Not as much now that I'm almost 30, but when I was 23, it was a huge difference.

But its so hot in the summer around the gulf, its just as bad. And being forced to wear jeans in 100° heat with 99% humidity is a punishment that should be reserved for Guantanamo Bay.

But after growing up in Florida, the thought of living in the suburbs again makes me cringe.

Edit: Two years there and I never visited the Biltmore. If anyone came into town, I took them into either the Pisgah or Nanahalta (sp?) Forest and we camped at some secret camp spots I knew about on top of creeks or rivers off of national forest roads. If you don't have good topo forest maps, you won't find them. I've always thought of Asheville as a great hub to the Appalachians. Too much cool stuff around there to stay in town long.

  • See, here's the thing: coming out about being gay is the best thing Te'o can do right now. For one, everyone is so terrified of offending the gay community, nobody will give him any crap. As a matter of fact, he'll immediately have a major support network with the gay community and the liberal elite. NFL managers will draft him earlier and offer more money than what he's worth because they're afraid if they don't, the gay community will picket outside their stadiums during every home game. Hell the San Francisco 49ers will take him just because it'll raise attendance. President Obama will probably deliver a speech about what a great American he is for overcoming the adversity of being a prolific homosexual football player. Frankly, I don't know what he's waiting for. Come on, Te'o. Out with it! You can do it, you big beautiful gay bastard!
