  • Pandora sucks balls. I never got the obsession with it. You can be listening to Pink Floyd radio and a John Mayer song will come on for example.

    Yea. Metallica just got added. Still waiting on Tool, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Beatles and AC/DC. They are a few catalogs away from being a service that would be hard to live without.

    Definitely. Floyd, Zeppelin & The Beatles are my three biggest gripes for sure. The Band is on there, but The Last Waltz isn't and that would be a major problem but those 2 cds are some of the default i keep in the 6 disc changer in the Tahoe. Nirvana Unplugged is another i always have in there.

    Those 3 are notoriously stingy about licensing their music for pretty much anything. It took forever for the Beatles to even be in iTunes. Zeppelin is the worst about it, I don't look for them to be on any steaming service ever.

    The Beatles problems stemmed with Apple in general because of their logo. Spotify is totally legitimate too so I think they'll make it happen eventually. Pink Floyd The Wall Concerts Live '80-'81 is my ish. I could get by if they just put it and the Wish You Were Here albums on there. I love Dark Side of The Moon, but i've always been partial to the other. Shine On You Crazy Diamond is just musical perfection from start to finish IMHO.

  • Spotify can suck it... asked me for money after the first couple of days. Pandora remains money-ask free... just pops up with ads every couple songs.

    You can use Spotify for free as long as you want so I'm not sure what you're referring to. If you want to hear Rihanna while on Eagles radio though be my guest.

    I was trying to use it on my phone, and after a few days was asked to sign up for a sub. That never happened on pandora.

    Either way not a big deal to me, it's a rare occasion that I'm using either. Got my own shiiiiiiiiiiet.

    I use Google music to stream it and if I'm going to be in an area with spotty service I just pin what I want to listen to on the phone.

  • Spotify is awesome I use it all the time rarely pandora. Spotify=playlist. pandora= radio/randoom songs from a genre. Whatever floats your boat.

  • I just started using the musiXmatch app on Spotify... and holy crap, this is awesome. It makes the lyrics scroll in sync with the songs. Pretty cool feature.
