Is Jones going to step up to the plate? He was disappointing to me last season, but hopefully he lives up to his potential. Our DL as a whole outside of Barnes is a question mark for me. We need a DE to step up to take pressure off of the LBs.
2) What changes, if any, is Butler going to bring in? Is he like Roof (
)?
Overall I'm very, very excited for spring ball, and I can't wait for the Blue-White game.

You guys overuse the hyperbole of no playmakers.
Jehu Chesson, Amara Darboh, Devin Funchess, Fitz Toussaint, Derrick Green, Dennis Norfleet... Devin Gardner.
All of those guys have big playmaker potential. Only Fitz, Gardner and Funchess have shown their capacity to do so thus far (and Norfleet to a much lesser extent). Will we have AS MANY playmakers as you guys? No probably not, seeing how that's what the spread offense is tailored to. But you guys are painfully ignorant if you think we have nobody outside our OL on offense. And quite frankly, in for a rude awakening.
If you guys are praising Jalin Marshall as the next Ted Ginn Jr. we have every right to praise the potential of our playmakers as well.

Its funny you bring up last year though, because I'm pretty sure that awful LBs and DB corps help your team to under 50 yards in the whole 2nd half....
Why are you bringing up Hyde and Miller? I never mentioned them.
Taylor Lewan ring a bell? Is he proven enough for you? Our RT Michael Schofield was also all-B1G last year, I'd say he's proven. As for our DL, they're actually pretty good. None of them are great, but none of them are bad.
I knew you would pull that card. What you guys fail to realize is how much Borges screwed us that second half. Your D still played great, but it was great OSU defense combined with shitty playcalling by Borges.
Also, one game doesn't tell the tale. You gave up 300 passing yards to Zac Dysert (who?), 28 to Cal, 49 to Indiana, 38 to Nebraska, plus a couple other teams got in the 20s.. That's pretty bad defense.

All of those guys you named didnt do anything last year even with a threat like D.Rob.... .... Gardner is decent, Fitz, decent. But Green is totally unproven but will work well in your new style of O.
I dont see the number or caliber of skill at play maker.... IMO the only thing that is in your favor is OL (which is a big deal, in your type of O) We have better DL, more LB's, better CB's and DB's... WR's, RB's (at least for our system, I believe EZE is better in any case though), QB's....

While I think Lewan is overated(and nobody has any clue where anyone will go where in the draft until they enter their name), he's by any measure a sold college LT. I was speaking of your brethren, ones who are confident in the playmakers that are currently on your roster. Hopefully your line improves this year(I have no idea if they will or not), because you'll admit they were an average group at best last year for you.
