    Not sure you understand how this works, but if the NCAA kicks PSU out (or any member institution out), it will be their downfall. Every antitrust lawyer in the country would cum all over himself in hopes of getting that case.

    And this. The NCAA runs a monopolistic organization. They are walking a very fine line.

How about you go out there and read the 100's of articles that we as PSU fans have on the matter and then read the actual lawsuit being brought forth by the State of Pennsylvania... once you do that, come on here and talk. Oh, you may want to learn a bit about monopolies as well.

    Until you do that, your opinion on this is both worthless and baseless. That is why you are being attacked.

    You said "PSU might even end up out of the NCAA" without understanding any small sliver of what that would entail. I could throw out crap about OSU too without knowing anything, but that seems ignorant to me.

    You do know PSU has nothing to do with this lawsuit right? The state of PA is the one suing.

    That's why you're getting attacked, because you provided an opinion on something you know nothing about. The PSU BOT released a statement essentially saying thanks but no thanks about the lawsuit. PSU as a university/institution is in no way shape or form fighting these sanctions, Pennsylvania along with the paterno family are suing.

    I'm sure there's more than that. Defamation is an extremely difficult case and it appears former lettermen might be involved in the suit. Not sure how former lettermen would have been defamed by the NCAA.

    I'm ignorant enough to make a comment about it, almost like PSU fans are and were ignorant enough to believe no one at the school knew about this and to point fingers at other schools for NCAA violations, when in fact there were MUCH MUCH worse things going on in your closet.
