No, now yall Ohio St fans are gettin rediculas. Yall think you will land EVERY big time kid from here on out. Everything I read is if he stays close to home its Virginia, an if he leaves it will be UF. Im not sure why Diggs would want to go play with a running QB, but im not expert.

I concur. You are not expert.

Will you kill yourself if Meyer doesn't win the national title next year or have the number 1 class?

Just heard JC on Bill King's show say Diggs is heavily interested in OSU.

Another great get for Corch Urbs.

Another great get? Sorry, I must've missed it, but who was the first?

  • It would be a bit ironic if he went to OSU.

In 1974 Stafon Diggs caught a 2 point conversion to lead USC over OSU and give them the NC.

    Looks like another perfect day.

His mother best friend is Jelani Jenkins mother.....she not letting her son anywhere near Urban after the way he lied. She spoke on Urban at the UF/FSU game. Sorry JC doesn't have a clue on this one.... better listen to Steve. Once the Jenkin clan gets done with Urban;tosu will only be a hat on the table. "Diggs come be the next 'Percy', have faith" lol

Just understand...according to the OSU fanbase, every 5* is theirs. The Alabamas, LSUs, Floridas, Michigans...the rest of us might as well just look for the left overs. LOL.

  • Don't group all OSU fans in as 1 opinion.

I don't think Urban himself is going to convince every kid to come to OSU. However, I think the ESPN/media hype has definately created a buzz with the 18 yr old HS kid crowd.

It sure isn't going to hurt us in any competition for a recruit.

If GrantParkGator is accurate, I don't see this one happening then. However, I've seen him on the OSU boards over exaggerating Florida HS coaches' dislike for Urban already.

I'd love to land Diggs. Kid is electric.

Many Fl HS coaches already had a dislike for Meyer because of his view of national recruiting. He had a few strong spots like Lakeland and Venice but the neagtive feedback is there. Take a free trail to ITG or FG if you want some quotes from the coaches in Fl about Urb.

  • Four-star DB Christopher Bivins, Gainesville (USF commit): “I feel like he wanted out of UF to begin with. He never wanted to stop coaching but he needed a reason to go somewhere else. I wish him the best at Ohio State, and I’d definitely consider the program if they contacted me. It’s a great program and now a great coach to go with it.”

Three-star ATH Demeitre Brim, Lakeland Victory Christian (Virginia commit): “Coach Meyer is a big-time coach going to a big-time program. There’s little doubt something positive will happen there quickly. If Ohio State reached out to me I would definitely consider them now that he’s there.”

ESPNU Watch List WR Jordan Cunningham, Davie University School: “I would consider Ohio State. I am considering a lot of schools.”

ESPNU Watch List WR Ahmad Fulwood, Jacksonville Bishop Kenny: “I would definitely consider OSU now that Coach Meyer is there, but my interest level would really depend on what kind of offense he was going to install.”

ESPNU Watch List RB Adam Lane, Winter Haven: “I would say that it is a great school and a great fit for him because he grew up there. If I were to get an offer from Ohio State it would be a great opportunity to learn from a coach who knows how to win.”

Class of 2013 ATH William Likely, Glades Central: “I would love to see what Ohio State looks like in the near future.”

ESPNU Watch List CB Sojourn Shelton, Plantation (FSU commit): “Yes I would consider Ohio State. My best friend goes there and Coach Meyer is just really a great addition to the program. I am very interested to see what he does in his first year.”

Class of 2013 DB Damonte Jones, Ocala St. John Lutheran: “Yes I would consider Ohio State in my recruitment. Coach Urban Meyer is a real good coach and he has had a lot of success.”

Class of 2013 DB Jamonte Jones, Ocala St. John Lutheran: “Heck yeah, Coach Meyer is great!”

Class of 2013 WR Anthony Lauro, Bradenton Manatee (via his father): “I did talk to [Anthony] about it, he said he would like Coach Meyer’s offense and would definitely like to consider Ohio State. Our whole family is from there.”

Class of 2013 DB Austin Logan, Tallahassee Florida High: “I like Coach Meyer because he’s a winner. He has won wherever he goes and he’s a great recruiter.”

Class of 2014 RB Sony Michel, Plantation American Heritage: “I think it’s a great move for [Coach Meyer] because it’s his dream job. I’m open to Ohio State like I am to every school right now.”

any coaches? Meyer can't step foot on a campus w/o HS coaches approval. Until contact period HS coaches are the key. Kids will fall anything....UF 2010 class but their coaches will see thru Meyer. His time of having players hand wrapped to him in Fl is over. Good for Bucks that OH has good instate talent.
