Stephen Strasburg's Innings Limit

Can't fix his mechanics now it's too late, the Rockies tried to change Tyler Matzek's delivery and ruined him.

Then just monitor him as close as possible to increase his career and not risk further injury.

Then I guess enjoy the probably few remaining years they will get out of him before his arm gives out again and remove the innings cap completely.

I sense bitterness, whats that all about?

Hey Trojans, LSU's 74 are better than your 75.

O no, don't get me wrong, I love the kid and see his greatness (full disclosure: I am a Braves fan and it sucks seeing him dominate my team) but I just don't think his arm can hold up that long throwing that hard with poor mechanics. Not bitter at all, in fact I like that Washington is leading the NL East as it forces the Braves to realize they need to fix things to compete.

Also, this is a case where I hope I am wrong. I really do as baseball needs players of his caliber as it increases interest, especially for markets like Washington.

Quick question as I am not sure how long his contract is and when the major league part of it fully kicked in, but does anyone know how long Washington has him locked up for? I presume that he and Harper are huge targets to get long term contracts for the Nationals GMs.

Also I re-read what I had written in haste and realized it did come across as quite bitter. I have edited it because that was not my intention.

Whenever he gets arm fatigue sit him a start. Seems like a Duh thing to me.

This. And there is a zero percent chance they sit him late in the year if they maintain control of the east, which they should especially with beachy down now as well. I expect the nats to win the east which would be awesome for that franchise
