LOL sure he only made Florida won at Duke and Made USC legit contenders in the SEC I would say he deserves any credit he gets. Your comment makes you sound like you don't know much about college Football.

He was an offensive innovator in the 90's and feasted while everyone was playing catch-up. He deserves credit for that much. Lately though? SC has been better than ever, but the SEC East is a wreck and SC hasn't ever been given a second thought as possibly becoming the SEC champ. The 2010 SECCG was an embarrassment for them.

Would florida have been built into the dynasty it was without what spurrier did in the 90's? Urban may not have come to florida had spurrier not built the foundation. Urban walked into a gold mine of recruiting and program recognition.

There have been plenty of years UGA played a tougher west schedule and USCe still couldn't take advantage. It is what it is. It just so happens that we have an easy west schedule the past 2 years. My guess is no one will whine about it when we play LSU and Bama in the same year, not to mention AUB as well
