    It was embarrassing (SECCG). I turned it off after the 1st play of the 2nd half. I hope Cam dies in a fire while getting raped by Mandingo. Yes I'm serious.

    Spurrier is the one who is insecure. That's the point. He has titles from UF and beautiful 10 win season rings from USCe but still continues to comment on another coach's success.

    He's got a problem w/ a lot of the coaches and opposing teams..
    Hope he has an easy schedule this year(looks like he does)..
    Wonder what his major 'beefs will be ..?

    as i remember it, gary and verne told us all about how the qb hadnt lost a game since pee wee, #1 and reigning champ bama was unstoppable, saban was tall enough to ride the ferris wheel at the SC state fair...ad nauseum....they were sure as hell "elite" before that game. garcia pounded a six pack at halftime and beat you by two TD's....GFY

    bama fans were convinced he was going there in 06 despite his saying time and again he wanted a challenge. he'd be your coach now (or Uf) if he just wanted cheap wins. Sc was a straight dumpster fire when he got there--now Sc is the best team in the east ( last 3 years)

  • Spurrier's done a decent job at So Carolina but nowhere near what I thought he'd be this far into it. I'm glad he's made them a little more competitive within the SEC though as that only makes the SEC, in its entirety, look better.

    I have to say what Spurrier has done at USCar has been equally as impressive as what Saban has done at Bama.

    Taking a irrelevant program into relevance (though USCar isn't a Natty title contender at the regular and I see them receding in progress after this coming season)

    Equally impressive? lol. Are you out of your freaking mind? So you think that Saban winning 3 titles and Spurrier winning absolutely nothing is equally impressive? No coach in college football is "equally impressive" as Saban.
