Several prospects increased their stock during Saturday's Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game in Montgomery, Ala.

White flashed his terrific athletic ability. We still like him a lot. He has some work to do physically IMO, and where he will play at the next level. Very raw prospect, but one with a nice ceiling. Could play WR (more natural at that spot IMO) or CB at the next level.

Nothing against him, but I think he got burned a few times.

  • Hopefully Jeremy Johnson was just having problems because of the system... Glad to see Melton get some recognition though.

Johnson will be very interesting to watch at Auburn. I think he's more of a play extender that can make some "feet" plays on the college level than true dual-threat. Coach Malzahn definitely has a scheme that he can excel in.

One thing that will always remain true for QB's moving from one level to the next when the speed of the game takes a couple of huge steps, is can the QB prospect play under a different duress when the walls close in much faster and it forces reactionary movement and throws, or anticipation. The majority of the time, it has to be proven out in time under that duress - which simply can't be simulated on the high school level IMO - and especially now with a high % of QB's in spread playing in a much more comfortable setting.

  • On the sideline at the Georgia Rising Seniors All-Star Game in Dec 2011, I was shocked at how Foster looked from a physical perspective as he was probably 230-235 back then. He actually suffered a concussion in the 1st half and the coaches took his helmet but prior to that I feared for each East player when they had the ball and Foster was on the field. Scary how explosive he was at his size at such a young age. Reminded me of a bigger high school version of Derrick Brooks as Brooks was a headhunter in high school as well.

If he stays in shape and continues to develop/mature, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up the most productive collegiate player in this class.

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

He had that physical look about him again last week. Just moved better than he was late in the spring/summer.
