No. Too many people own guns and if a ground force started in the places that store a ton of guns out of pride would hand them out and train people. You'd enter a country that, through their discretionary income and the nation's advanced weaponry overall, has a world class armed citizenry. Grandmothers with highly advanced ARs.

You'd go into a neighborhood and have laser sights on your chest out of nowhere. Most other countries you invade the citizens are pissed but they either have no weapon or they have a hand gun that they know misfires half the time and we stroll in with drones, tanks, and night vision. They like, "F that"

Exactly and think of all the war tested ex military in this country

We might lose the active force in this very scary scenario

But the bases would be looted and i know i could get into them

And i know where to go to find what i need for the most part

People would be armed to the teeth

You would also need an envasion force that can take all weather and all terrain

Not easy to do

The only way I would see it being possible is WMDs.

If someone would try, they would have a hard time dealing with all of the gun owners in America let alone the U.S. Military.

I have a .22 magnum rifle, an 870 12 gauge, 270 rifle, .45 muzzleloader, an old Sears 12 gauge pump, a single shot 12 gauge and my wife wants us to get a handgun.

My uncle has a sh!t load of guns, a mini cannon, and as the last 4th of July, over 10,000 rounds of ammo.

My best friends dad was looking into getting a 50 cal at one time, I don't know if he ever bought it.

While that cannon took awhile to reload, one shot of grape shot was badass and would fvck up anybody walking into that.

Who would invade!? Can't say China, it's not possible for them to invade.
