The results speak for themselves. He referenced Kansas collapsing in the tournament, they are not the only ones.
Self dominated the B1G just like Thad has, but Self has dominated the Big 12 and won an NC.

I don't have a dog in the fight, but Cal's Memphis team literally choked/gave away that game a few years ago. KU won, but any competent team would not have blown that lead with 2 minutes to go.
Maybe Self looks so good in your eyes because he clowned the really over-rated Roy Williams last weekend.

No, Self's resume is just much more impressive than Thad's.
And yes Roy is very overrated I mean 2 NC's in the last 7 years is awful, and 7 Final Fours is even worse.
If that is overrated, can Michigan get an overrated Coach as well?

I am not talking about his accomplishments, which are impressive. Rather I am judging him in relationship to performance vs talent. UNC has at least as many NBA players on their roster as KY this year, but they are sitting at home. What did Roy do with Barnes? It is his job to get the most out of Barnes.

They are sitting at home because the best PG in the nation broke his wrist.
Not to mention their two top SG's are also out with torn ACLs.
So 3/4 of their back court was injured and not playing but they got to the Elite 8 still.
Yeh Roy is dreadful.

I wonder how many BUcknuts would be rooting for MIch if the roles where reversed. I would believe most buckeyes would not be rooting for us.

Michigan State is firmly entrenched as a basketball power in the conference and nationally also. Ohio State winning it all would not bother me. The games we had this year were flat out wars. I respect the hell out of them. If we did not win it all, I wanted them to.
