It's going to rule on Prop 8 in California, and should be able to overturn any previously passed state constitutional amendments.
I'm not a lawyer though, so take it with a grain of salt.

No. Because currently federal court still has pot as illegal, it is only legal in the state of Colorado. However, in CO, if a cop really wanted to, he could bust you for smoking a joint as a violation of federal law. The reason people are actually smoking/growing in CO is because cops have come out and said they won't enforce the federal laws.
This is like Roe v. Wade. States can do whatever they want to make it marginally more difficult to get an abortion, but they can't possibly make it illegal.

I'm pretty sure they are taking up DOMA. If they find that unconstitutional, they any marriage in one state will be legal in any other state based on the FF&C Clause. DOMA is what is blocking that.

I have no problem with homosexuals getting married. Let them be just as miserable as everyone else. lol

I could get jail time for smashing a car window. Does that mean that cars have legal standing? No. Criminal laws punish people's conduct. That's it.

Cops don't have federal jurisdiction. State and local officers in CO and WA couldn't do anything.
