The fight against homosexuality in the church is based on the belief that Homisexuality is a mental disorder brought on by childhood or other sexual abuse/trauma. You can look at any psychological study and find otherwise. I love my church, but I believe we have made human mistakes before?

I am not a perfect person. I don't pretend to be. However, I can change. The law, on the other hand, is a little bit harder to change. Therefore, when I have the opportunity to vote, I vote for what I think He would want me to. If that's an inconvenience to you, rest assured I couldn't care less.

There's also the ongoing war on religion. These are only a few of the reasons why Obama is truly a poison on this country.

Deuteronomy 20:10-16 tells us that, after capturing a city, the conquerors should kill all the men, and enslave the women and children.
Leviticus 25:44-46 tells us that not only should you have slaves, you should buy more heathens as slaves.
Exodus 22:2-3 even tells us that a thief should be sold into slavery if he can't make restitution.
But no, you're right, the bible doesn't promote slavery at all.
