Label/financial, Diddy? Wrong, on so many levels.
On songs alone, Jay Z dominates Em.
Jay can go from 99 problems to Big Pimpin to Run this town to Hard Knock life, and not miss a beat.
He's way more diverse than Em.
Jay Z advanced many, many careers of artists and still stayed relevant as an artist. You cant just sweep that under the rug, when thats a major part of hiphop's culture. Roc-a-fella will go down in hiphop history because of Jay Z. You cant turn a blind eye to that.
He even signed Nas, lol

Disagree that Jay Z is more diverse than Eminem. Actually, I'm not even sure how you could come up with that.
From My Name Is to Beautiful to Space Bound... Eminem can do it all. Sing, rap, story tell, hateful or compassionate(especially the ones about his daughter) Jay Z is the better business man. Eminem is the better artist which is what we are voting on.
This of course is only my opinion. Eminem is the definition of diverse.

Agree with this 100%. And let's try to keep in mind that in addition to being more varied than Jay-Z, Eminem's songs are just better. Better flow, better technical skills, high concepts, and Em never gets murdered on his own song, whereas that happens to Jay pretty much every time he brings on a guest rapper with any profile. Even in Big Pimpin, one of the songs CRgator is citing, Jay gets owned by both members of UGK.
