    If you want to be legit, at least in the eyes of the staff and mods and have their support, you need to do it right.

    Bingo. And worrying about the mods is bad enough. Now we have to worry about some self-appointed council comprised of the board's worst offenders? Afghan politics has less cronyism.

    except the NWO isn't like this.

    Our idea was a self governing body to help keep this place under control.

    Basically helping you guys out, some of the founders of this have gotten in trouble for flaming or cursing, but we also know that we helped raise this baby and we need to clean up our act and be leaders.

    However, I was the first mod to post in this thread. Just trying to help the credibility of your project is all.

    No, you weren't the first Mod to post in here. We've had 2 other Mods post in here and Aussie had mentioned he thought of doing something like this in the past.

    In case you haven't seen, no flamers get banned, no flame threads are ever deleted until page 10.. It's turning to Rivals... Hell, they should've banned me for some of my flames

    I don't know what advice you were trying to give us other than trying to make is seem like you're above us.

    What is the rush to do this so quickly? Why not give every board a week to nominate one person for the ballot. Then everyone can have 48 hours to vote. Pick the top two vote winners from each conference. That's your council. And the council can elect its own president. Boom. Done.

    Every board? Why? This will only effect tBB. Plus there are quite a few posters on each home board that, while post often there, rarely venture to tBB.
