TBB 'Gunner Kiel Award' for 2013 - Nominations

  • Okay, TBB, we should start taking nominations for the 2013 'Gunner Kiel Award'.

    The GKA goes to the recruit with the most hilarious, outrageous, stupid, silly, or otherwise ridiculous recruitment for the class of 2013. Stuff that helps - flipping schools often, getting tattoos of a school on your forearm, then decommiting from that school, committing/decommitting due to weird circumstances (creepy guys following you around as a recruit, no Chik-Fil-A on campus), having mom hate your decision on National TV, having mom make your decision for you (looking at you RK), etc, etc, etc.

    Yeah if anyone has a better recruitment than Kiel's, I'm open to changing the name. I started off with the Landon Collins award, but I think Kiel's was better.

    Matt Rolin. Commits to S.Car, gets surgery by S. Car's physicians . . . . and flips to UF.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    - Foster moves states to go to high school in Auburn. Bama fans are suspicious

    - Foster assures Bama fans he is committed to the program.

    - A month later, Foster reads the exact same speech TJ Yeldon read when he flipped from AU to Bama at the press conference. He then shows his AU tattoo that Trooper Taylor branded on his arm.

    - AU goes full retard and coaches get fired....weedline laughs

    - Foster says he is still committed to AU and will remain committed

    - The same day, he says he is no longer committed, and is looking around. AU is still very much in it he says....but maybe not

    - A few weeks later he tells people no way he is going to AU b/c of how they treated da Troopah.

    - That changes, and he then names a top 3 of Bama, AU, UGA.....adds LSU later that night to make 4

    - Then takes random Washington official visit out of the blue

    - UGA takes lead, AU out

    - AU back in, 50/50 with UGA, likes new coaches and wants to honor cousin

    - May not announce on signing day, wants to be sure

    Tells Rivals he committed to Clemson.

    23 H.S. teammates get offers from Clemson and commit.

    Decommits from Clemson.

    Almost commits to Ole Miss.

    Announces Clemson and Alabama aren't finalists, but LSU is.

    If he commits to LSU, he wins the award IMO.
