    So what ?

Oh I get it, you're saying lets take one case and apply it to every single player

that isn't retarded at all confused

As far as TE's and ND go we've turned 3* into All-Americans and high drafts picks counting Eifert. Rudolph was a stud from the beginning. Only position we've had much luck with last 10 years.

I never said he wouldn't be good but he isn't on the same level as Taylor and O Leary, he just isn't

He could end up being more productive but he isn't nearly as talented as those two

Lol. I like how you keep grouping O Leary with Taylor... Be for real. I like O Leary a lot. Love his game. But he isn't good bc of raw talent... it's bc he works harder than the next guy & is very tough. He isn't half the TALENT taylor is or Heureman for that matter. I personally think the kid will be very successful wherever he ends up.. but my insight is about as terrible as yours. shrug

    Isn't "half the talent"

    Interesting. We'll see.

You think competing against his brother could be a factor of not going to OSU???

Not really......Big Bro is now a RS Sophomore......so there is some separation. I think Baugh is going to scare him off, kid is a freak. Notre Dame is pretty close to OSU so he can visit often and not get home sick.

Jeff Heuerman didn't readshirt, he will be a true sophomore in 2012. But that's just semantics. He'll be OSU's #2 TE and given the lack of depth at WR, I expect a ton of 2TE sets with Stoneburner as a psuedo-WR.

With that said, I'd love to see the brother in S&G, but I'm not as confident as I once was.

    Are you kidding ?

You think richboy Nick O leary gets by on better work ethic ? false, the kid is as talented as they come

Its why a 6'2" 225 TE was nearly a 5 star by every site

Nearly every write up i saw on Taylor said he was basically a poor mans Nick O

Not saying he won't produce... but it's not bc of natural ability, it's benefiting from hard work.

    And again, Lamp

I never said Mike H wouldn't be good, but he isn't a talent like Nick O Leary

He just isn't, Kent Taylor either.... he is a notch below

Wait until Miami lands him before you sweat his balls brah

    Lulz

Why did everybody else agree ? in terms of rankings for one thing ?

Football intelligence/instinct is something you are born with BTW, its god given and falls into the category of natural ability imo... not hard work

Meh. Football intelligence/instinct has just as much to do with film study & working on the small details learned at camps / under coaches as it does coming naturally. Just bc others agree doesn't make them right. (see: FSU 5 star examples) If I had to guess, it was from performing well while getting exposure on big stages... (camps, state/UA game, etc) & his name.

    Yeah we will see

I don't think this Mike kid is on Nick's level

Nick is one of the best football players in the last few classes
