TJ Yeldon in beast mode today

  • Looking like Hart and Fowler are slipping down the depth chart.

  • To fowlers defense(and possibly harts) he is going against the 1's. But yeah, yeldon is looking beast!

Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

Good point it just looks like Yeldon is more of the complete package. He's impressed me today with his catching abilities.

  • What is worrying me more is the busts in coverage on some plays. It is the spring however. So they have time to improve.

It's to be expected when your replacing basically everyone back there. Our defense is going to take some time to gel like it did in 2010.

Indeed. They just said 266 passing yards for AJ. Good day for him. One of the 2 picks was tipped.

  • When T I G E R tells us how good a Bama commit is gonna be for a solid year, everyday, you bank on it. No suprise here.

  • Yeldon looked great.

    C. Jones looked good.

    Kenny Bell looked great.

Brent Calloway looked like he could be a big contributer on offense at H Back.

Phillip Ely looked better than the Florida residents believed he could be.

Defense looked tough up front. Small breakdowns in the secondary, but better playmakers, IMO than the 2010 defense.

Hubbard looked real good as well which I expected from him this year. I think he's going to be better than Upshaw.

Quicker around the end and maybe more versatile as far as pass coverage, but I wouldn't say better by any means.

It's just my opinion but I could certainly be wrong. I would also say that for a jack LB'r being able to pressure the qb more efficiently and be better in pass coverage is a pretty good indicator of a better player at that position. Again that's just my opinion.

Expected when we got Hubbard that this would be the year he sets himself apart from the rest. He didn't seem to be blocked the entire game. Anything less than 8 sacks from him this year would be shocking to me.

This troll was like a 3/10, imo.

I never post on BOL (ever) and it wasn't a troll. Yeldon looked damn good today. He got around 180 total yards from scrimmage. I would say that what I said was pretty damn accurate. I'm sorry if your upset that I posted our five star true freshman RB looked good today.

Start a Shaw to Byrd thread. I almost started a look at me, 4*/90 OG King commits to SCAR thread earlier, but Bo gets kind of cry sometimes.

How did Shaw and Clowney look in your spring game. I'm watching the Georgia spring game right now and think it's going to be tight between Georgia, SCar and Florida for the East title.

After Shaw started the game with 70 yard TD to Damiere Byrd, he didn't get to do too much. Clowney wasn't pass rushing too hard when he was in but was popping people downfield after short passes. Had some good 1 vs 1s with Brandon Shell at LT.

Overall, not too much to take away from the game. Backup secondary struggled except for a white kid walkon playing CB, but it's to be expected with no blitz/contact on QBs and calling like 85% passes.

Same reason NoVa started a thread for the FSU game. I don't see why anyone would care.

  • I watched a good portion of Bama's spring game and was impressed with Yeldon. He looks very quick and seems to have good vision. Pretty impressive for just a freshman.
