It happens all the time. "Sure, we'll give you a shot at ______. If it doesn't work out we can see you at ____________'.

Yeah, that is what I'm saying. It was not a riddle. The guy did not believe we were serious about giving him a shot at RB after Saban's comments on him at DB. I have no doubt if he really, really wanted to play RB we would have put him in there. But I doubt he would have progressed in our system. Maybe that would be due to him not being a r RB, or Saban being pig-headed....maybe both. I can not blame him at all for picking AU if he wanted to play RB. That was my original post.lol
