    They are so stupid that they don't see how this hurts them .he barely had 1k yds rushing, there are probably 40 RB's in the nation or more that had 1k yds rushing. now the barn staff will have to lie to the other backs they r trying to get and say Yeldon is recruited to punt or something not as a RB........roflmao

    I understand you didn't want him. But Trent Richardson only ran for about 1,350 yards and 13 TDs as a junior.

    Yeldon also added 500 yards catching the ball out of the backfield, so over 1,500 yards total along with 23 TDs. Those are fairly elite numbers for a junior in 6A Alabama football aren't they?

    PS. I don't have any inside information, but my guess is Saban isn't sifting through the national running back stats looking for the guy with the most yards.

    There were actually 480 running backs that had over 1,600 yards and 171 guys that had over 2,000 yards.

    There were 9 that had over 3,000 yards. Of those 9, I can find TWO of them in Rivals database, and one of them has no ranking and no offers.

    I'm glad the staff doesn't subscribe to your idea that we should be watching for how many yards they have as a guideline to offers.

  • I hate both of y'all equally so here is my opinion.

    He will try out at RB and be moved to the DB position. It's obvious he won't be a number 1 guy at RB but will have a chance to start in the secondary down the road. He will see this later on, IMO.

    He has a chance but with the way Auburn is recruiting now and in the future, I just have to think you will find better guys at that position. I didn't say he couldn't play, I just said he wouldn't be a number 1.. Just my opinion on the matter.
