Teams with multiple rivals...

  • which rival do you put above all others...sorry bama/auburn doesn't really work for you because everyone knows who you hate the most....

    -most people from state would say uf...but i think in terms of sports Miami is a bigger rivalry...i may hate fu more by a hefty amount but i feel Miami is the bigger sports rival.

  • Most people would think that for Oregon it would be Oregon State. But for those of us who have been fans longer than the last 7 or 8 years Washington is the one team that we hate above all others.

    i can guarantee you there is a very large contingent of bama fans who hate/disdain tennessee more than au.

    the rivalry is more public with au right now because of several factors, most notably both having had success on the national scene recently (not to mention the recruiting rivalry is much stronger with them because of proximity).

    but ut holds a special place in the hate department for bama fan, even before the ncaa/means/secret witness fiasco.

    it's close, and right now i'd probably say au for most bama fans, but a serious case can be made for ut as well.

  • We're kind of rival-less at this point. Haven't played Pitt in a while, and frankly their program is worthy of a little pity. If you asked me five years ago, I'd say Michigan was probably the one I hated the most. Lately OSU has become something of a rival, especially in recruiting. Nebraska is another one you could choose with our protected crossover. I think that needs a little more time to develop, though.

  • As an FSU fan, I hate UF more than Miami. But I look forward to the UM games more. There always hard hitting slugfests for the most part. Also, when I was at FSU, UF killed us everytime (Tebow years), so the games werent as exciting.

    Someday they may get there for me. I grew up hating ND and Rocket Ismail while watching Michigan dominate MSU and the rest of the Big Ten. Would MSU have been ahead of ND 2002-2007? Not for me, and the last few years haven't changed that.

    What about Temple? Them boys from North Broad should have had you last year. I hope they keep playing in the future now that Temple is Big East. I think ND is playing a Temple soon because of all the ND fans in the Philly area.

    I am one of those I guess you would say that have more disdain for Tennessee.

    I think it is generational. I am a little older than most so I would go Tennessee then Auburn. I still think that the Auburn game is bigger now than the Tennessee game, but I just don't have the hatred. I actually usually pull for Auburn to do well unless them losing helps Alabama in the standings.
