    Well, no one to blame but ourselves. As much as we all say the education system blows and needs more money while fruitless endeavors like reality TV continue to air and professional sports continue to rake in obscene (and unnecessary) amounts of money under the guise of "capitalism" and "supply and demand" we will continue to see this problem and see it get worse. I'm not trying to sound all political, I understand completely why those things make bank and tax-funded education does not, but that doesn't mean it makes an ounce of moral sense.
