I love these bleeding heart arguments. Taken to their logical conclusion, all roads lead to socialism.
My step-father (who, inter alia, grew up poor, had first job at 12, joined ROTC to enable him to go to college, got engineering degree, only person in whole family to go to college, used military to get masters degree in engineering, started environmental engineering firm which was eventually bought by multinational corporation in tact, was made senior principal of said multinational corporation) told me something long ago that has rung true more in the last four years than ever in my life:
"You will have to apologize for mistakes you make in life, but do not ever apologize for the fact that your family had money when you were growing up."
Tebow is no more at fault for his parents having money than my parents were when I was. Its absurd to argue otherwise. Those who do are simply pissed-off malcontents. Nothing will calm their ire except some pseudo-father figure somewhere telling them "everything is going to be ok."

And good to see these "open-minded, free-thinking" democrats who hate stereotypes throw labels on Tebow and republicans alike. My family is republican and both my parents worked 60 hours a week when I was a kid growing up just so we could eat. Oddly enough, all that hard work paid off, they both got promoted and invested their money wisely. Now they are in the middleclass.
But I digress, since being republican really means I was born with a trust fund, a Lear jet, and I wipe with 20's right?
(Btw, Duvalnole...I worked years at ponte vedra inn & club as well as TPC Sawgrass, and I have no problems with the wealthy, seeing as their generous tips funded me through college at UNF)
