Tennis players grunting...

Isn't tennis supposed to be a proper sport? Its very distracting and rude. I think there is a rule about not making noise after the ball crosses the net, so why is all this grunting allowed?

It's gotten out of hand and they are starting to make moves to remove it. It's far worse in the women's game because 1/2 of them sound sexual while doing it.

They are saying it actually helps when you hit the ball. Who knows...they will never be able to remove it. As Azarenka says "Good luck with that"

Very few guys do it. Definitely common on the women's tour, although I think Sharapova has actually toned it down a little bit. At least in the last few matches I've caught.

Used to play tennis with a girl that grunted. I really hated it and the sexy part wore off very quickly.

Yeah, it's going to be tough to stop. It's wierd, because almost no women high school or college players grunt. It's almost completely limited to women on the pro tour. I don't like it at all.

totally can't stand it when dudes yell while lifting weights during strong man competitions. just ruins the whole experience.
