Cody - starts for Ravens Rolando - Bust. Immature idiot. Marcell - starts for Bills Hanks - not drafted JPW - not drafted, backup QB McElroy - hasn't got a shot. But late-round pick, backup QB Ingram - hurt/unimpressive last year, but has looked good this season and is getting more touches.

I don't really get the point of this post.

point is some turn out good and others don't...

Terrance Cody? Rolondo McClain? Marcell Dareus? Darius Hanks? John Parker Wilson? Greg McElroy? Mark Ingram?

Cody is a NT in a 3-4, meaning he will never have great numbers because he is used to take on double teams to free up LBs.
Rolando has talent but seems to be screwed up in the head, bust.
Dareus having solid career up to this point.
Hanks was undrafted so not overvalued
Wilson wasn't overvalued as he was drafted to be a back up
Greg McElroy is the best QB on the Jets roster but terrible GM and/or coach won't play him. Also drafted to be a back up so not overvalued.
Ingram is a good back in a pass happy system where he also shares carries with 3 other RBs. Dumb pick by the Saints simply because they didn't need him. Would thrive somewhere else IMO.

    What about:

    Julio Jones?
    Courtney Upshaw?
    Trent Richardson?
    Mark Barron?

I just picked the ones that were drafted recently in rounds 1 or 2. Missed Rudolph and Smith, both are solid.

    Haha really?

Cody- starter - playing as expected
McClain- idiot and right now a bust
Marcell- starter - playing as expected
Darius Hanks- Dude was not even drafted so terrible example
John Parker Wilson- Not drafted but backup QB for Falcons (another terrible example)- playing above expected
Greg McElroy- Drafted in the 7th round but backup QB for Jets (another terrible example)- playing above expected as he came in and won a game for the Jets this year.
Ingram- Doesnt even get the carries needed to prove himself. Has actually played well this year with limited opportunities.

    Fail.

  • He's actually not though. Archie Griffin would be because of his TWO Heisman trophies.

He really did retire. Came way out of the blue. San Francisco was not happy.... BTW none of those 4 were first round pick FYI.....

  • I hate ND as much as the next guy, but this kid is the definition of a class act and is what greatness is all about; a leader of men and deserves every award he has achieved.
