No one else belongs
Teo's numbers aren't gaudy so i don't see why he's even being promoted as a candidate. Suh had gaudy number. Even the honey badger had gaudy numbers. Heck, derrick thomas back in the day had playstation numbers. Teo is a great player but not a heisman year.

Honestly I didn't watch any ND game this season so I can't say much to how his season went but I didn't even notice him against SC until our QB thought he was an open receiver.
Not sure he did anything of note last season against us either, I just assumed he had finally put it all together this season from all the Heisman hype.

actually, his numbers weren't that bad against Florida. If you want just yards, he even had ver 300 total yards by himself against LSU as well. The only bad game he really had was LSU because of the TOs but he has not been stopped by anyone. He set the total yard in a season record in 2 less games than Cam Newton...think about that.

Manzel will never play a down in the NFL - too small. I like his story and he is exiting to watch - but one year does not make a heiseman either - voters look at a body of work. A flash in the pan is not Heisman material. A&M loses to Bama - and Manzel is not going to NYC either - you cannot say ESECPN hyped Teo and slow played Manzel - A&M beats Bama - Manzel moves from nobody to top of the list due to ESPN hype.
I'm a team guy and think individual awards are pointless in a team sport anyway. The Heisman is a popularity contest anyway.
I have said for years they should dump the Heisman because it has nothing to do with integrity and being well rounded as the rules state - past winners have been arrested and part of recruiting violation allegations prior to winning.
Manzel is 1-2 vs "then top 25 teams" when A&M played them. Is the loss on Manzel or the team? I say the team, but some will unfairly hold that against Manzel in voting.
My point is that it is just a popularity contest.
