    No one did much on Bama's D and I highly doubt this little dude would've lasted. He's not better than Tyler Wilson who Bama shut down.

    He might have got us past the 50 though but you're acting like he's Drew Brees but all I'm saying is he's 6 ft tall so I hope he can run, inexperience/small and not that fast is not a good combination in the SECW.

    The SEC is a Defensive league, I dont care how good you think you Offense will be. If you cant play defense you will lose at LEAST 5 games, that goes for anyone. Look at UFs 2007 team, Tebow won the Heisman and we had maybe the best offense in the country. But our defense was our weakness and we got exposed over and over again

    Clearly defense isn't the only thing that matters in the SEC, look at Arkansas and then look at your record. Arky is far from a defensive powerhouse and even though Florida is good on D, you still finished 7-6. Our offense probably won't be as good as Arky's but our D will be better. It's not absolutely insane to think that we can get to 7 or 8 wins. September 8th will be a lot closer than you think, this isn't Urbie's Florida team.

    And this isnt last year's team either. We we're the youngest team in the SEC last year, started 7 sophmore's and 2 TRUE freshman on defense. We have better depth, more experience and a better scheme on offense. Brent Pease is a great offensive mind, Bama wanted him for a reason. And our QBs we're freshman last year, they took their lumps. Your QB will be going through his growing pains during the game, good luck with that

    Our run defense was atrocious all year and our offense came out extremely flat against the Aggies. Hogs were just manhandled up front against the o-lines in all three games. What saved us against the Aggies was their atrocious pass defense.

  • Florida returns 10 starters on defense and 8 on offense(including our entire offensive line), we lost 6 games last year but our starting QB was injured for three of them and not 100% until the bowl season, we played Bama and LSU back to back, and we had two losses by a touchdown or less to South Carolina and Georgia.

    You guys haven't won a single game in the SEC, I'll take our defense vs your offense and our offense vs your defense.

    I wasn't trying to use Transitive Property, I was just trying to point out that not every successful team in the SEC plays great D.
