    I don't see what the big deal is. Y'all are just taking advantage of the rules that were set in place by the sec and from having a great season and some people don't wanna see y'all come up and be a legitimate thread. I for one would like for y'all to not take anymore people so we can get tommy sanderslol

    Not to be critical, but what the student athletes who made life changing decisions in a pledge to a university, coach and team?

    Georgia to many fans outside SEC has been the team that doesn't oversign.

    Why are the Georgia scholly numbers so low or is it wishful thinking?

    We had a lot of attrition in the 2011 "dream team class" (did not qualify, dismissal from team for arrests, left for seeking pt, etc.). Last years class we had 18 (missed on 3-4 on signing day) in which 2 did not qualify, so really only 16. I want to say the past 2 years over 10 walkons received schollys. We are very thin compared to many in our league.

    You can count on though that on signing day we will not be signing any more than what will bring us to 85.

  • Every signee can be an Early Enrollee. You would just backcount the appropriate number towards the previous class.

    But you cannot go over the 85 total scholarship limit. I think it has to be down to 85 by the end of spring?

    I understand your concern with that, and I agree with you. Players shouldn't be promised scholarships and then have them taken away because someone better comes along.

    yes. one who hadn't played in 2 years because of injury. but yeah, he got his offer pulled because of grades, not because of injury and aggy's unexpected success this season allowing them to go after better players.

    Damn skippy. I definitely would have yanked that schollie as well.

    Sumlin is doing an outstanding job. There are several more commits I would like to see him trap door and I hope he does. I love that he can get away with it and recruits are still calling him up to commit.

    It's great to be an A&M fan right now.

    At the end of the day Sumlin will do whatever he feels like.

    I also like the idea of him taking commits just to keep them from going to other schools. Mack was notorious for that back when he actually had something to sell.

    Taking all theses guys in this class is gonna hurt atm in the 2015 class. Atm is signing almost half of the 85 scholarship limit this year. So the next few classes will be very small
