i havent been up to date on osu spring ball, sounds like urbie is makin em work tho...
we have some things to work on (like all teams)...
our strengths will be d line and secondary... and running back, braxton, if he can learn the spread quickly will be good but we need some wr's and o line to emerge...
how bout u guys?
any of those o line recruits gonna start this yr? like kalis maybe?

None of the o-line guys will start (sounds like our starters are very solid), but they will be needed for depth without a doubt.
The secondary has apparently looked very good in Spring Ball, Jarrod Wilson (early enrollee at FS) is making some waves and apparently will see time as a backup.
LB's are solid and we have solid depth here. Demens has a minor injury (wrist, or hand not sure) and is out for Spring so Ringer, and Bolden will be getting more reps which I like.
DL is looking solid, but we will be light up the middle. Frank Clark and Brennen Beyer (both WDE) are apparently having a battle for the starting job.
Toussaint and Denard apparently looking good and improved. WR's Roundtree is getting positive reviews, same with Gallon but not much else. Leaving Sr. recently said they expect Jerald Robinson to be good this year, was apparently very good on scout team last year.
Pipkins, Kalis, Bolden, Wilson, Ringer will all see time IMO. Then 1 of the other DL (Strobel, Wormely, or Godin) and one of the other OL probably Magnusson.

whats up with the rumors regarding gardner? i heard he was playing some wr, is that just some schemes they will get him in or is he moving over there?
the kid is a great athlete so im assuming hoke wants to get him in more...
pipkins is a beast, watched him in one of the all star games and liked his speed for a big guy, plus he's intense...

Gardner has been taking reps at WR as well as QB. No one is really sure what the deal is with that, but apparently Gardner has looked very good at WR when he's been there.
Pipkins said the other day he was 360 pounds at the AAA game, down to 340 now. But moving like that for a 360 pound man is impressive.

ya know if i was hoke i would get him in as a wr too (and some qb time), when a kid has that much talent ya gotta get him in there, and as long as denard stays healthy he wouldnt see a whole lot of playing time as strictly a qb...
plus, dont ya got that 5 star qb coming next yr? (morris i think)...so it wouldnt hurt to have gardner get used to knowing the wr position...
just wonderin if dg is cool with that, could get disgruntled

No idea what Devin thinks about it. When asked in a presser Borges without saying Devin was being moved said "He wants to get on the field" so I don't know.
Unless Morris is a super human I'd prefer for him to RS his first year. Freshman QB's are rarely a good thing. If Gardner or Bellomy can bridge the gap for a year I'd much prefer that.

dont get me wrong, i dont lose sleep over other big 10 teams losing, but it is a good thing for michigan to have a strong big 10...strength of conf. comes into play when choosing bcs title contenders...so it is better when you beat a 11-0 osu team vs 0-11 osu team...if um is 11-0 and lsu is 11-0 and texas is 11-0, they look at how strong each conf is, that is why the sec gets a nod every yr if everyone has the same record...
