When they are at home talking to each other in bed, or when talking to their superiors I don't think it would really matter, it would add realism as well. I seriously doubt any KGB were able to permanently lose their natural accents, or never speak as themselves when it was safe.

They were taught English with an American accent. I'm sure it's the only English accent they know.

I know a Venezuelan family that has a daughter my age and she speaks English with a southern accent. She moved here in middle school. Was Spanish erased from her mind? Her family speaks English at home.

If that's your only gripe about the show, then you're trying too hard.

I'm not normally into S&M but when Keri Russell was beating the ish out of Claudia after they figured out the kidnapping was a setup my peepee moved a little.

I think it was the finale. I missed it. Hope it comes back on some time.

Watched the finale last night. It got a little slow towards the middle-end of the season but I still really like this show, especially for the originality. There's never ish on about the cold war and taking it from the enemy's perspective like this is always interesting.

No doubt I'm sad to see the season end actually, as opposed to The Following when i shotgunned a beer after it was over I was so excited. The Americans is definitely one of my favorite shows, and Keri Russell is uber sexy.
