I said previously that I wasn't going to argue the statistical line anymore regarding gay=marriage since it's a recent phenomenon and the stats are way too few to argue for either side. i only did it originally to appease some who were insisting upon it. You have no proof that marriage has strengthened in the Netherlands other than an unsubstantiated blog, not peer reviewed, written by folks you don't know, and with scant statistics.

Next, are we really going to look to the animals as our guides for morality? Many animals kill their own young regularly (langour monkey's are a good example). I don't ask the herd of cows down the road which group I should give my charity to. They don't have a concept of morality or rule of law. With animals it's all about the rule of the strongest and carnal instinct. The animals committing "homosexual acts" weren't making morals decisions. They were merely acting on carnal instinct. You've actually helped my case with that one, thanks. By "natural" I mean as it was intended by God.

Finally, I'm not afraid of anyone else's marriage hurting my marriage. What I'm concerned about is it's affect on our society. I have no concerns for interracial marriages as long as it's between a consenting man and woman. And, there's nothing about this discussion that makes divorce or shacking up ok. If you'd like to have that discussion then start another thread and I'll participate. Pointing to one wrong to make another wrong doesn't make either right.

Can you make a case for why gay=marriage should be a right beyond it's financial benefit to a minority of peoples> No one else can.

As far as I am aware, only Humans marry each other, does that make it unnatural since we are the only species that does?

The internet isn't natural, should we stop using that?

Playing video games and watching sports aren't natural, should we stop that as well?

What about if you lose a limb? Since prosthetics aren't natural, should you be force to have a stub the rest of your life?

Since you believe this, then you also believe that single parents do not deserve their children and we should take them all away. A marriage license should be required to have babies.

If you don't think people are born straight or gay then under a certain set of circumstances couldn't you have turned out gay? If you think that there is no way you would ever be attracted to guys i rest my case that people are born straight or gay.

Under a set of circumstances you fall into the paradigm that you were born gay. I don't know what those circumstances are, it could happen to anyone(Less likely to happen to true Christians) but NO NOE is born gay. Unless their is an article that refutes what mine has stated.

How about no, in order for someone to become gay i think that people are in certain situations(Not sure what?) and they make that decision themselves. I am not in that situation, and I am a Christian and by my beliefs would be damned to hell if I chose that path and did not regress from it.

I have. There is no proof that people are born gay. Until someone links an article(Which no one has yet) I will believe what I posted. I have no desire to do their work for them.
