The Sat companies will surely pick up the SEC Network, but the question is, how much will they pay? You are fooling yourself if you think it will be more than the Big Ten network. Again, it will be all about selling 3rd tier content. Only alums and fans watch 3rd tier content. The national audience doesn't come into play here.

The SEC's main television rights are held by ESPN and CBS. From what I understand, any game not broadcast by ESPN or CBS would be eligible for an SEC network. A lot of attractive basketball games are not broadcast by either one of those channels. Almost no baseball games are broadcast on those channels and the SEC has a much better brand of baseball. All coaches shows, press conferences, and possibly game replays could be shown, although I am not totally positive about the replays
The only difference I see is that SEC teams would only have one football game apiece available to be shown on the SEC network and it would be a lower level game, while the Big 10 network has a few more conference football games. At least I believe that would be the only difference, unless somebody can show me where I am wrong
