  • My biggest compliant is the John Blake is supposedly named Robin.

I really believe that Nolan is done. So is Bale.most likely.

He can't be. He can't. You don't end it like that and just say "fvck it". He may only be writer/producer, but there is no way.

    Forgot about that one.

If I was named Robin, I'd probably go by something else, though too.

He wrapped up the story as much as possible.

He did the rest so they can keep the story going. He might be an executive producer on the next one but I can't see him having anything to do with the creative side again.

The only way I'd be cool with this is if he did the Justice League movie. biggrin

That just didn't even make sense. The Robin character was never named Robin.

I was really wanting him to be Azrael since he was a former cop. It would have made much more sense.

Still I don't think they were setting him up to be Robin. They were setting him up to take over the cowl. If anything I could see him being Nightwing possibly.

He has already said he has no interest in that.

I think he has done his time. I think he wants to move on and do something else. Which I am fine with. He gave us 3 spectacular films. Just think about what he did for the Batman films. They were garbage before he took over.

I look forward to whatever his next project. Whatever that may be. Rumor is it is a film about Howard Hughes later in life than the Aviator was.

  • I don't remember his name was mentioned in the movie, but the orphan who Blake talked to (the kid with the dead brother) is listed as Tim Drake on IMDB (with rumored next to it).

  • Alright I just have a couple of questions.

So did Wayne enterprises survive(Specifically the R&D part of it)?

This is probably a really dumb question, but did Alfred see Bruce, or did he want to think he saw Bruce? Note: I know the auto-pilot got fixed and all, just want to clear that up

And lastly, does anyone else have an empty feeling knowing that one of the best trilogies is done? I LOVED them all, and I can't like I just have an empty kinda sad feeling even with that great ending knowing that it is probably over.

  • Good deal, I was pretty confident Bruce was alive, but had to make sure.

And I didn't hear all of what the lawyer with the Will said.

I am still kinda said about poor Alfred, even though he aw him, it would suck seeing your best friend(For the better part of his life) and not saying anything too him.

Yeah, even though that movie ended perfectly I'd still love to see one more.

Yeah, no doubt I mean I loved the ending because he was alive in general. But it is still kinda bittersweet lol. It ended the only way possible for it to be both awesome and to finish the series.

Here is the big question, will anyone else try and pick it up? I don't know how I feel about something like that

They left it open for sure. I hope they leave it for awhile. Personally they should start burning all other batman movies after 1990

They did a great job with the ending. Not making it cheesy or cliche.

Almost guaranteed. Warners and DC aren't going to let their biggest cash cow just fade away.

They clearly set it up for someone else to take over the cowl.

I would be fine if they took what Nolan left them and ran with it. I don't want to see another reboot.

I would love to see something like Battle for the Cowl. If the kids name really was Drake then they left tons of possibilities.

Something like Batman Beyond would be awesome.

    Aussie

  • Yeah i agree billy, burn those things lol.

@Aussie- no doubt, money will call for another. I'll have to wait for a great review then i would be sceptical

How close dis it come to TDK for y'all?
