ok so im doing the cult of boriaths or whozamazilli. do i just get some follower and have them touch the stone or do I need to find a bum?

You need to do one of your followers. Make sure he is one you dont use at all.

got my smithing almost to 70 and enchantments at 65
one handed at 84 archery and two handed at 48. been smokin fools of late

That is pretty good. Once you get to 40 you slow down leveling tremendously unless you just use all of the exploits for different things.
The Nightingale is pretty freaking sweet.

I forget the name, but its the last set of Shroud Armor that the Dark Brotherhood gives you. Not that cheap first set that looks terrible.
I am a level 32 and my guy is just an all around badass. Light armor and one handed have most of my unlocks.

I'm running around doing some random things now. I just did Azura's Star last night and I've had that in my misc. section since the first day I had the game

I absolutely love that armor, especially since it gives me +30% Bow damage and great sneaking upgrades.
