Old Norse name, possibly derived from the root *leug, meaning "to break." In mythology, this is the name of a god of mischief and foster brother of Óðinn, described as the contriver of all fraud.

I am in awe of this game. Everywhere I go I just stop and look around wondering how in God's name someone can make a game this beautiful. Loving the sword, haven't even tried magic yet.

Anyone seen any washed out textures on 360? Heard this was a potential glitch. I'm picking the game up very soon, so I'm just wondering.

I am calling it a night. Tomorrow morning I will be back and in action trying to save Skyrim!!!!! I have to get my first innocent kill out of the way so I can join the Dark Brotherhood. Decided I wanna do the guilds first, then the main quest. This game rocks.

I think it's more to it than that this time. I read some review where killing an innocent doesn't start the dark brotherhood quest line this time.

So I have a paper due today and I was writing it until about 3 am. Afterwards, I wanted to kill some damn dragons. I decided to run to the Redbox down the street from me and see if MAYBE they had the game to rent already. Lo and behold, I came home with a rented copy of Skyrim, and I've been up all night playing. I have class in an hour, but I don't care.
Also, I played for hours and did one mission, and it wasn't even a main quest mission. Not to mention, I've yet to face a dragon, and I'm still having a blast. Oblivion was my first ES game, but I didn't get to play much, but I can tell how vastly improved Skyrim is. I started with a Dark Elf. I'll specialize in Archery, Stealth and Destruction.
Have to print out my paper now and get ready for class. As soon as I get home, I'm firing it up again. Can't wait! [bartscottvoice]

I'm going to pick my pre-ordered copy up at 2 after I get off work, but i won't get to play until tomorrow night since I'm going home to visit the family.
Going to continue my trend of making my own class with an Imperial sword wielding/heavy armor/healing magic bad a**. Then I'll upgrade destructive magic as I can.
