No online, just single player. The game is supposed to take near 300 hours to complete, but even after that there are still things to do.

I agree. Much deeper. So much smoother. Offers sooooo much more. I just thought the stories were better in Oblivion. Might just be me though. Of the companions/thieves/collegeofwinterhold/dark brotherhood everything in oblivion was better. with the exception of the companions >>> fighters. It'll be interesting how the main quest plays out.
This game offers a lot more, but I think they took short cuts on the guilds a little bit.

I would say the stories are close. The Guilds do seem a little shorter.

I just liked that you started off low and actually had to work your way and it actually took some time. You didn't just do like 5 contracts and all of a sudden you are the Listener.

I should be purchasing this game within a week or so(when i get my ps3 back) after watching my friend play a little while last night i have decided i want to pretty good at everything but be most proficient at Archery and Magika. What class will help me achieve that? I also want to be good at alchemy

Probably a wood elf. They are the best at archery and should be decent at magic too.

Remember, take your time. You shouldn't be in a hurry to do anything in this game because its going to take hundreds of hours anyway. Sometimes I just stop where I am and look around just because.
I actually climbed to the top of a mountain a couple days ago just to look over the world of Skyrim. I love this game.

I finally beat that Frost Troll in The cave when I'm escaping that place that I had to fun the dragon papers. You can't run around that mofo. This game sucks you in like no other.

Frost trolls regenerate health when wounded, but they are vunerable to fire. Blast their asses with a flame spell and they'll cook down rather quickly.

I used my bow and Shout. When you get all 3 words to your first shout you get, it's deadly. Knocked the troll off his feet in the air 7 ft. Then when he Was on the ground and I could get several shots off. Rinse and repeat. One question. I've absorbed several dragon souls and I have a total of 3 shouts. 2 I can use.... Unrelenting force and te one where you run fast. But my fire one isn't unlocked even though I've got 2 dragon souls left.
