I am trying to get into the dwarven labyrinths for the first time in a college of winterhold quests and i found the place i am supposed to go but when i go through the first set of golden doors the slumped over imperial person is not there to give me the key?? I checked in my guide and i completed the only prerequisite so i know thats not a problem

    That is weird. I really don't know how to help. You might try loading an older game and try going in there again.

  • It looks like i might have to start over. I may reload an older game and give it another try. I wonder if they will ever release a patch to fix this problem

    That is the one problem with Bethesda games.

    There is supposed to be a 1.3 patch coming out this week. But I think that is just to fix the resistances and the dragons.

    They really aren't as tough as they seem. I just used a combination of destruction magic and conjuration with a flame atranoch.

    This. I think your better of using shock against them instead of flame...but thats just me. Im leveling up my shock so I can disintegrate motherfvckers later on using the perk tree.

  • Alright guys i figured out i simply didn't talk to a person i was supposed to talk to so there was not a glitch. Anyways i got the staff of magnus and now am trying to beat Arcano(Sp?) any pointers?

    Note: Morokei was nearly impossible to beat. He could kill me in 2 damn hits

    Just keep hitting the Eye with the staff or you can't even touch Arcano.

  • I had a nightmare last night. A Skyrim nightmare. I was in Tamriel and I was trying to get away from this dark elf. The wife said I woke her up talking in some weird language. She said I then opened my eyes really wide, yelled at her, and then pulled the covers over my head and mumbled to myself.

    I'm guessing I was using my battle cry when I yelled at her.

I am trying to be patient and wait for them as I am in no rush to get to my desk, but the person continuously turns to me and asks me if I need something.. I keep saying no but it won't stop.

    You have to blast the eye of magnus with the staff until it closes...then Arcano's defenses are down and you can attack him. When the eye closes do it again. He wasnt that tough imo. Just keep moving.

  • so I made my way through a lot of the dark brotherhood's quests..... and I'm at the point where it's just a bunch of random things from the Night Mother at the Dawn Star location... does anything else happen or is it just a gold making thing at that point? I got bored with killing random people... I want to kill some people of worth.
