You meet the wizard in winterfell and he sends you on a quest to some caves to retrieve the dragon tablet or something. The ancient dead guys keep waking up 2-3 at a time and attacking you. At the end you read some writing on the wall and learn a shout or spell then this guy wakes up in a crypt and attacks you. You have to beat him to get the tablet and all my weapons go right through him. Can't hurt him.

My weapons worked fine on him. No issues here

really? thanks for the tip
ive already completed the smithing in riverdell(?) so I got the basics down. I've joined up with the Companions and have a shield brother right now and I'm trying to complete small tasks before going to the greybeards

There is an enchantment table in the castle in Whiterun.

need to start harvesting souls. about to join the legion (though the stormcloaks sounds more fun attacking than defending) and i'm bout to rain hell down on them bastards that almost got me beheaded for just being near them.

I've turned my mage into a pretty solid sneak character as well. I'm almost at Smithing level 90, and Enchanting level 100.
