bo, woody...hoke, meyer...woodson, half of 2012 recruits, desmond howard etc...
what does michigan really even bring to the table?

cmon mr woodson, we watch and root for our teams on how they perform, YES, we hope they are good kids and act respectful...
i truly believe army, navy and air force are the only true teams that represent class in all of college sports...
um, osu, usc etc... have no more/less class then any other team (except the above forementioned)

You couldn't get a response in the other thread so you had to create this? Your argument is stupid, who cares where the recruits come from, it only matters what team that they play for. Is it an abomination when OSU pulls a recruit from a state other than Ohio? No? I didn't think so.

it does matter where they come from when slappys from michigan dog everything from ohio (except when it benefits them)
why would such a classy university like um want talent from such a horrible place if they are above it?

Without question, osu fans are the only ones I see ever argue this lame bullshitz. This isn't 1830, and these young men don't work on the 'ohio' plantation. You don't own them, they are not escaping on the Recruiting Underground Railroad. They look at the schools, the staffs, and choose the path best for them. If anything, this is an indictment against your state school, it sucks, and kids are leaving. USC has taken some great recruits from Michigan, yet we don't sit around crying like a 5 year old girl that just had her favorite Barbie stolen from her. What other excuses can your pathetic fans come up with to justify how the greatest program in college football went 6-7 last year?

Well, Ohio does suck but that's JMO. I guess the smart ones leave the state. In all seriousness, most UM fans understand that not all things in Ohio suck, but they just like to say it because it clearly gets under your skin.

and speaking of going 6-7, congrats on beating our worst team in 100 years by less then a td in your own backyard against an iterim coach and a true frosh qb...WOW great win!!!!!

The last part of this post is dumb as well. Either all of the wins and losses count or none of them count. The records in any given year are irrelevant to the series. Plenty of teams with horrible records in this series have won and plenty of teams with great records have lost.

If you ever get a chance, try this place out. I live in the worst state ever, but there are many cool things about it, and this is one. It's kind of crowded, but it is worht the wait, and the beer selection is second to none. I only mention it because I dropped my wife at Hopkins today, and it's only 15 minutes away, so we took the kids, and I'm currently eating a leftover Parmageddon grilled chese. It's awesome.

So you don't get the point. You can say that, don't be shy. Just because you live in a state, doesn't mean you have to stay there, like there is a wall around it, or a fence as osu fans say. These kids are not indentured to the state, they can leave, and move about the country freely. It's a plantation mentality. That's my point.
