The Blue Board

Thought it was dull. Shaky cam annoyed me, not enough action, and it looked very low budget. The acting was superb though.

The book was so much better than the movie, IMO. That being said, I loved the movie too.

Biggest problem was the very poor development of the ending. I would have liked a more realistic death sequences. Not so much gore it takes away from the story,but something more like the book and less like a pg13 movie. I liked the production direction of district 12 being like Appalachia,but the Capitol was good but the people too Tim Burton-like. I liked the development of the Seneca to help the plot. I just wasnt happy all the quality production for the Capitol sequences but not games. Overall,though, I liked the movie. They're going to hit the bank on this first one(I assume it was relatively low budget), so they better go all out on the next two.

If you haven't read the books, you can still go see it and know what's going on.

I will say that I think it's a little more geared towards the young adult crowd.

Yeah, the books are a lot better. They're much more graphic.

I liked the movie. It was a little below my expectations, but that still means it's a good movie because I had high expectations.

Like someone said earlier here, I don't know what but I felt like the movie lacked something.

It was still an enjoyable movie and I would recommend it.

Read the first book over the weekend. It was good. Like everyone else said it's a quick read, but that's to be expected from a YA book. Looking forward to seeing the movie.
