lol, yeah, I don't know why I typed "starting PG" I was referring to Dexter Strickland, who was pretty much the back up for both guard postions. . . Regardless it's still a big loss, if it wasn't he wouldn't have been playing as much as he was. . . As for the "regular season boring this UNC team" that is very funny. . . this is when you want to be getting better every game, and based on today's performance, and many of the others they have shown so far this season, they are not. . .

You clearly don't watch UNC so don't talk. They have been getting much better and the defensive intensity is coming which is bad for everyone else. You act like winning at Maryland is some really easy task, UMD has one of the better home court advantages in college hoops. Plus yes losing Strickland is a pretty big lose, but now Reggie Bullock just plays more and he is a better player anyway. Most people thought that by losing Dex, UNC would get worse defensively and not have a defensive stopper, but Bullock is actually proving to maybe be a better defender.

I'm interested to see if Cross can make a large enough impression to play his freshman year. We need a larger back, but we've got a number of guys ahead of him. He'll need to prove himself as a no-questions-asked 'I will get that two yards' kind of guy if he wants PT in his first year.

Man, we keep hearing different things on Marrow. Makes me worry. But hell, if he can get those yards - no questions asked - then I'm 100% behind red-shirting Cross.
With that said, I don't think that'll be the case. Cross made it clear in his recruitment that he wants to play as soon as possible. There's no way we got him while saying 'You're going to red shirt your first season,' especially the way we went after him, Powell, and Bourque late.
Yeah, as we found out at rb last year not redshirting doesn't equal playing time though. I hope he can become a
