Usually by getting key 3-and-outs. One sack throws the CPU's game off entirely in my games. They have to huddle and I get sub in new guys.
My average score in year 1 with Troy was 41-32. Gave up 327 passing yards per game but only 119 on the ground. Meanwhile I get 250 on the ground per game and chew clock in the 4th quarter.

man i suck at that game... i wish i could play like that

This is pretty much the only thing I do during free time during the week. Instead of watching TV, I play a couple games. I can complete a season during the week before leaving for Birmingham every Friday for the weekend.

Posting here is the first time that I've really been exposed to football. I used to despise the sport. Hated it. Only watched MLB and basketball.
Now I know stuff about the NFL, NCAA, and recruiting. I really shouldn't know who DGB or Gunner Kiel are.

yeah I hear ya...had class today then had to do a bunch of homework...after class I rushed to start crossfit tonight and now I have to study for a test on wednesday (surprise test btw)

It's all about the sliders. Playing on Heisman with default sliders is impossible. The CPU is perfect. Adjust the sliders and you can get a pretty realistic game going. Most of my sun belt games are close and of course Clemson beat my ass(still sacked Boyd 4 times, he's such a bitch).
You just have to approach it like a real game. Surprisingly this game plays well when you go about it like it's an actual game. The CPU will double team my beast DE. They'll gameplan everything away from him, attack my linebackers when they're covering a WR, bite on the play action, etc.
