It's all new to me Barn. They are starting this cell shit and I know more of the jobs then anyone in my cell. They are going to appoint leaders for xtra pay. But, we know how that goes with politics inside the plant.

this is why you should write the proposal...
whenever i ask my company for a raise, i give them a proposal.
when i took over this shift, i wrote a proposal...
it's like going in there with a loaded gun. you tell them why they should keep you, and you show them the proposal telling them why they should keep you...
or, if you want the leader position, you tell them why you should be the leader, then show them on paper
hell, i'll help you write it

I do this with my director, but we are not a big enough company to have an HR department.
i have no idea about how the unions would react, but i think you would have the union rep there with you?
