    I'll tell you what if you email me a copy of your homework, I'll do a detailed and thorough method of how I would solve it with a good amount of descriptive information on how to approach a problem. I'm done with school for almost 2 weeks and I will see what I can do to help you learn calculus.

    thank gawd i'm done with my maths

    do you need to solve for theta or what? what are the details to the problem?

    using degrees, find the amplitude and period of each function. then we have to graph.

    ok haven't done this in a while but I believe secant runs from -pi/2 to 3pi/2 so you have to set the inside to that equal to both to determine the graphing portion.

    theta/3 - 30 = -pi/2 --> theta = -3*pi/2+90 --> theta1 = -pi
    theta/3 - 30 = 3*pi/2 --> theta = 9*pi/2 + 90 --> theta2 = pi

    those are your graphical limits

    the period of the secant wave will be T = 2*pi/w where w = 1/3, so the period T = 6*pi

    the +2 is just the intercept so instead of starting at 0, you will start at 2

    I'd actually need to write that stuff down to verify it but that's the approach I'd take and you just copy a normal secant graph to that setup

  • After reviewing, seems what you did is right. Just gotta graph all portions which includes the main curve, dotted line, limits, and some horseshoe looking things on the top of the curves.

    oh yeah the amplitude is just one

    that's what's out in front of the secant function

  • My brother suggested I should study english in college which could then turn out into a sports writing career. Newspapers are becoming nonexistent in todays' society, but there are always online publications.

    I need to find something to do with myself. We had a journal entry identifying our skills and likes to a future path to success, and it's really got me thinking.

  • Bulldog basketball was nothing without Rick Stansbury. He was an assistant on the Final Four team about 15 years ago and then took over a winning program. They were nothing before he was on staff. Right now he has lot his team, but the university risks floating with irrelevance along with their counterpart Ole Miss if they get rid of him.

    All he is is a good recruiter. He doesn't know how to coach. He shows favoritism(renardo Sidney) to some players and loses respect from the other guys. There is no reason that a team with 2 1st team all-sec players and a fr. All-sec player should lose this many games. That's on the coach. I would rather have a losing record than have a team with at least elite 8 potential go 21-13.
