I fucking hate serving. I do it a few nights a week and bartend or cook the other ones. Had an 7 top come in five minutes before close and tip me 5% of the tab. As a bartender that never happens and as a cook I get paid well.

Whenever I got a verbal tip, I knew the actual tip would suck.
I hate people now. Thinking when they give me a $5 tip on a $50 check, "oh I'm GIVING this kid 5 bucks". No dick face, you're lowering my hourly to $5/hour.
People don't get that we complete on average 2 tabs per hour in a shift. When you stiff us, it kills our hourly wage. Even if a server sucks, less than 20% is taking away livelihood.
