If Stern's people allow us to play defense, and our bench continues to show up we should have a decent chance against these guys.

Heat in 5.. I don't think the Mavs are athletic enough to play D on the Big 3.. Dirk is gonna get his but I don't think it will be enough. Gonna be interesting to see how they defend Dirk. When do the finals start? do they move it up since both series are done or do we have to go a week without hoops?

I really hope the refs don't decide to carry D Whistle to another championship like they did in 2006.

Mavs in 6.

No arguing these are the 2 best teams. Neither of them have had a close series yet. Gonna be fun.. Glad we got some Mavs fans on here so game nights can be a good time on here. Can't wait, wish they could start tomorrow.

Why do you Lebron lovers not give Wade and Bosh credit? "He's clearly the best...". Well, of course because he has 2 MAJOR upgrades as teammates... If Wade hadnt come alive in the 4th this series would be going back to Miami... And yet, Lebron is the savior...

Nobody can stop those 2 guys together... That 18-3 run was highly impressive, and with the refs there to help them out...

I don't think anyone was talking down Wade and Bosh. LeBron was the best player in this series by far. He locked down Rose in the 4th qtrs he made 3 fgs in the 4th in the 4 losses including the block on the last shot of the game. He hit big shots all series long. Wade is a great player Bosh is good, but LeBron stood out above the crowd consistently every win of this series.

Wade and Bosh are awesome. But it was Lebron who knocked down the big 3 and the big 2 at the end tonight. He's also the most incredible defender. He is clearly the best. Wade actually had an average series. He did make some important plays, but he did have some issues. I'm confident he'll play better in the Finals.

And you say Lebron has two MAJOR upgrades as teammates... well Lebron took an awful supporting cast to the finals BY HIMSELF last time around, so it clearly is about him. Lebron is the star.

Those two are 33 and 38. Lebron is 26. I realize both those guys have played well in the playoffs, but if you seriously think they will slow down Lebron in any meaningful way you're out of your mind.

Before you try to correct me, how about trying to look at what I was referring to...

The poster I replied to said that "Lebron is clearly the best player in the game right now." Where do you see best player in the Chicago series inside of that quote?

Of course he's exceptional... But he's not "clearly" the best player in the game right now, especially at this moment... At this moment Dirk is playing the absolute best right now... And Derrick Rose was phenomenal all year, so it obviously wasnt so "clear" to the NBA MVP voters...

They weren't gonna give it to Lebron 3 years in a row, and there was so much Lebron hate. That explains the MVP. And yes, Dirk is playing lights out right now, but Lebron's elite defense puts him ahead of Dirk IMO and in the opinion of many.
