The NBA should do us all a favor and just come out and say what we already know...their product is a sham and it is rigged. The WWE did it and they are still making money. Fans will still watch.

Retroactively suspend the players after the game and you see the tape IMO. At least fine them. Becoming a joke.

Will never happen. Officiating has gotten terrible in all sports and nothing is ever done.

The NBA really is trash. Refs can influence a game unlike any other sport. Its the same culture from the bottom to the top, and I think everyone knows what I mean by that.

Dan Lebatard made a decent point yesterday on his TV show that the game is moving really fast so for a guy to see exactly what happened is becoming much harder with all the flopping. There needs to be some penalty though because it's impossible to watch NBA games now without getting frustrated.

Ill add the incresed speed of the game added with terrible fundementals has attributed to the incredibly sloppy play too

Absolutely agree; except the one and one is at that end--on the basket the flopping defender was defending--not at the other end.

Get rid of the charge.. That will cut down a ton of flopping and make defenders actually contest at the rim

Have you ever heard of the "no-trade clause" in baseball? Do you remember the 1983 or 2004 NFL drafts? Basketball is absolutely not unique in this regard.

I don't think he necassarily killed it. It was just such an awesome era in the NBA that we can't compare it to anything just yet.
There will always be another great player that comes around, I just don't think Lebron is that guy. Like Mountie said in the post above Lebron is more of an athlete as opposed to a basketball player. Jordan was a basketball player.
