Hell no
As a whole it still sucks major butthole imo
Lin has my attention but watching the Knicks isn't even that great still
The NBA is so bad these days its almost comedy to me

Yep. The Detroit Bad Boys would make the players of today cry. So would those Knicks and Heat teams that would turn to blows every time they stepped on the court with each other. I haven't even gotten to the 90's Bulls, 80's Celtics and 80's Lakers.
The NBA today is all about athleticism instead of great basketball IQ and fundamentals. Sad, but true.
You can put some of the blame on the refs/Stern for making defense non-existent, but you can't blame them for the league going to an isolation, 1 on 1 borefest.

The one on one stuff is what frustrates me the most.
You would think with how big and athletic players are they could run some amazing team offense. But pick and roll seems to be the pinnacle of offensive evolution.

You had it spot on until the last part. The league is far from iso 1-on-1.
Stern specifically changed the rules to do away with the iso gm. The 1-on-1 NBA days, or MJ days, were the greatest games. But he, and others in the higher ranks, wanted the product to be more "fan friendly."
Thats why they got rid of the illegal defense, mainly because Shaq, and allow guys to just "roam" on defense.

I actually enjoy the NBA right now. You have your oldtimers, guys like Kobe, Nash, and Garnett. Then you have your vets like Lebron, Howard, and Paul. Then you have the up and comers like Rose, Griffin, and Durant(even though he could be considered a vet by now.
The late 80's early 90's were the golden age for the NBA IMO. But there is potential for another one in 5 years or so.
