For sure it is clear as day FSU is not a place to get drafted at.... he can maximize his abilities any where if he works at his craft.... he has just as much a chance to get drafted from FSU as he does at Bama.... and again he said himself he was offered.... so again this goes back to who knows besides him and those involved ....

There are three different articles from three different Bama sites all saying the same thing from White up to the day prior to his offer and commitment to FSU: Saban talked to him, said he liked him, said he wanted to see him for a day in camp (June 3rd), and said that he would get his offer if things went well.
From an article written prior to his commitment: "White says that Tide assistant coach Jeremy Pruitt made him a conditional offer during a phone conversation last Thursday.
'I talked to Coach Saban on Saturday,' White says. 'The offer will be official when I go to camp up there on June 3rd. Coach Saban said that he wants to see me in camp for a day. '"
It seems that he got a major scholarship offer, got excited, and jumped on it. FSU, like AU, has pulled the "why do you need to work out for an offer when we've seen enough and want you now" pitch on numerous occasions against Saban. It works often, so kudos. There is zero doubt (yes, I said zero) where White should go if he wants to maximize his chances at being a 1st round draft pick in 3-4 years and those around him will make this clear should he eventually get his firm offer.

If he was offered, he wouldn't have openly said that he had a conditional offer to three different Alabama interviewers and that Nick Saban wanted to see him in camp like everybody else the day before he committed. It's easy to claim an offer in hindsight when you already have a scholarship wrapped up to your #2 choice (again, he said it openly the day before he committed) and had all the weight of the world lifted off of your shoulders.
There are literally dozens of recruits that have listed Alabama offers right now on this site that couldn't commit if they wanted, especially CBs and QBs.

Thank you for confirming he has an offer from Bama. I hate it for all those kids that got drafted in the first round that didn't go to Bama , they made a huge mistake! He knows all about Bama's track record, kid has just as good of chance going in the first round as he would at Bama.

You must have reading comprehension problems if you can't understand that he, like many other recruits, has to camp in front of our coaches before he has a committable offer (hence the statement, "I'll probably commit right then" in response to the question of what will you do if you get an offer at camp from another article).
And no, he doesn't have just as good of a chance of going in the first round if he doesn't go to Alabama. Nick Saban doesn't coach at FSU.

It must seem like another life ago when Bobby Bowden had the power to handpick his recruits.
You need to read up on how our recruiting works. Conditional offers are a way of life now at UA. There are dozens of other recruits in the same situation as White in that they will have firm offers if they impress at camp.
The conditional offer is the best way to combat the "they don't think you're good enough" BS that flows constantly from the FSU staff and others.

Only Bama fans understand how Bama recruiting works, apparently.
FSU beat Alabama for Winston. I'll readily admit that. He had a firm offer and we got beat, no questions asked.
FSU did not beat Alabama for White. I'm sorry if that upsets you. If he shows up to camp, gets his firm offer, and then sticks with FSU, then FSU will have beaten Alabama for him.

GTFO with that crap... like I said apparently White is lying cause he had been quoted in other interviews saying he was offered and asked to commit.....
And guess what Bama is NOT the only school who ask kids to camp before accepting a commit... as a matter a fact FSU has a couple of those, I know it is hard to believe that Saban isn't the only one who does that.....
