  • Best QB class = looks to be Miami with Olsen, but I like Staver too.... Miami gets the nod but its really a toss up imo, Staver looks NFL ready right now in terms of body type

Best RB class = This looks to be extremely close with each school doing well as usual, Collins to Miami would give Miami the best overall back imo but UF and FSU's backfields look to be deeper. If FSU can close with Edwards and Jack to go along with Green, then Im liking FSU's backfield the best in terms of depth and versatility

Best WR class = FSU wins a close battle with UF if they add Coley... interested to see what Jordan Cunningham does. Is he staying home at Miami ? or heading to Stanford ? Alvin Bailey might be the best overall game-breaker and between FSU and UF this is a tight battle that won't draw a true winner until Coley decides

Best TE class = Has to be Miami in a landslide, being that FSU and UF don't even have one at the present time... and even if Kerr flips to FSU, it seems Miami has won this one no doubt. Dobard and Sandland are two prized pick ups for sure

Best OL class = For now, its UF and its a solid lead. FSU is getting some guys they need but there is no telling how they finish ( que Trickett blows comments ) Miami has a solid OL class, but its hard to say its the best in terms of rankings. Im counting Moore for UF's haul for anybody wondering

Best DT class = Gotta be UF for now, and more than likely stays that way cause of numbers but If Bostwick picks Miami then they got the best player overall imo and I know they plan on taking more than 1 so we will have to see how they finish at DT

Best DE class = Im going with FSU, especially if they hold onto Bellamy and add Bower. Miami's DE class is a question mark right now outside of Muhammed and UF's is good for sure, but doesn't have the ceiling of FSU's imho... if any Gator disagrees you are more than welcome to kiss my salty ass

Best LB class = TBD, if Miami gets Grace and Thomas then Ill go with Miami and even though the rankings disagree, I think FSU and UF are neck and neck. Thomas is the final piece here for wherever he goes, the best LB class likely follows him

Best DB class = UF for sure, FSU has the chance to close strong but Eddie Jackson and Jalen Ramsey are a must to even threaten UF for this spot. Miami has 2 studs in the fold, but for now they only have 2 guys where FSU and UF should have deeper units come NSD due to Miami not taking a full class and not knowing who else Miami could land

Worst overall player ? my main man, Ray Lewis III

  • Looks ok to me as well.

My only gripe, and it's a small one, is the WR class. If we add James Clark, y'all ain't f_cking with us.

    Demarcus Robinson
    Ahmad Fulwood
    James Clark
    Alvin Bailey
    Marquis Hawkins
    Chris Thompson

Still think FSU has a bunch of players committed to them who shouldn't have even sniffed an offer.

Johnson and Franklin being the first two that come to mind.

I honestly forgot about Demarcus Robinson

    I agree then

I was just thinking if FSU added Coley then I was going with Coley and Jones being right there with Bailey and Fulwood

Clearly Robinson gives you the edge in elite players

Im not a fan of Whitfield, Hawkins, Thompson, and Clark seems solid.... I don't hate any of these guys just named, just saying its hard to argue who is better than who, and frankly at a stage this early it doesn't even matter

I like Wilson but he doesn't add much in terms of discussion or argument so you could throw him into that pile

So basically Robinson/Fulwood/Bailey > Coley/Jones/Wilson and although I think its close... I would agree and give UF the edge here pending Coley picks FSU

I like Franklin, I think he could be a very good defensive player and should be a 3 star at worst

Michael Johnson is meh, but he is from Miami... which gives him like 3 extra points, add the fact he is a black as hell and maybe he turns into something one day

Also not sure that 2 = a bunch cool

Only player I wouldn't have offered is Whitfield and maybe Johnson so long as I could replace him with studs I knew are better for sure

With the receivers, Coley is, by far, the most talented. No denying that. But yeah, I agree with what you just said.

Thompson and Hawkins are definitely projects and Clark isn't someone you'd write home about. A good prospect with some burners. So is Kermit. Kermit is the second fastest recruit in the nation and he's a football player running track, not the other way around. Idk much about Hey Zues, not enough to comment on at least.

Let's be honest, Franklin and Johnson and a few other jive turkeys got offers just to try and reel in their big fish teammates. Nothing wrong with a cow/calf deal every now and then, I guess. Fisher did right by cutting Baker and Sheldon. And there were one or two but I'm drawing blank on them.

I know my Gator brethren are gonna come in here and argue bout us having the best LB group so prepare for war, my man.

Fish swears by Jesus Wilson so for now Ill side with him on that front cause I haven't seen enough to form a real opinion on him

I know its common place to say FSU took so and so to try and land so and so, and it very well could be true

Im just not sure I believe it in John Franklin's case, Michael Johnson is more likely but still there isn't proof either way so Im not gonna bother arguing it one way or the other

Im thinking Alexander is the other one you might have been thinking about in terms of taking one to get the other

I like UF's LB's, mainly Danny Mac and Hears... not a fan of the vanilla cookies but sometimes you are out of milk and just gotta eat the cookie and drink some water you know what I mean ?

Whitfield does seem like a football player, but his hands looked bad in that Marine all star game

I'd have taken Dominic Walker all day over Whitfield

  • Fish also swears that Tunsil is a FSU lock. And his final top 150 was laughable. I don't put much stock into what he says.

Overall, I feel like your class is below par of what FSU usually brings in. Not flaming. Just being honest. But you did just sign the #1 class last year and are off to fire red hot start for '14.

You know me man, Im far from the typical booty sniffer who swears by these site guys on how they can say no wrong cause " they do it for a living " I mean shit, I got 35000 posts, I pretty much do this for a living too lol

Me and Fish have battled on many topics over the years, but I do like Fish and we have agreed too

I also don't think Tunsil is a lock, but if he visits then all bets are off

As for this class, its more than likely gonna finish top 10 and Im fine with that

All I care about is finishing up an elite OL class for the first time in what seems like ever

  • Sounds like a strong chance to flip R. Robinson, if that happens ill be very happy with a DB class of him , burns and Carter. Actually I'll still be happy with just Burns and Carter but getting Robinson would make me excite
